Guest guest
Hi Abby, I'm having no problems with points or anything. I get my veggie servings in usually at lunchtime, where I microwave/steam a whole bag of frozen vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots) and then I sprinkle them with nutritional yeast, and some salt and pepper and eat the entire bag! DElicious! And most veggies are zero points, so you can eat your fill of those. Even right now, at 6:30 in the morning, I am hungry for a tomato sandwich, with some vegenaise and sprouts on it. YUMMY! I've got this heavy whole wheat bread, dark and grainy and seedy and real good and chewy, and it is wonderful in a tomatoey sandwich with some sprouts. Gotta think if I want some vegan cheese on it, though. And this would be my breakfast. I tend toward eating breakfast and dinner, and not really eating a lunch, but just getting a snack at lunchtime - usually around 2PM for me. I am usually able to get all my points in. I wasn't able to at first, and then I stepped up what I was eating, and instead of a light whole wheat bread, at 1 point per slice, I got a heavy dark grainy ssedy bread for 2 points per slice, and that helped me get my points up. Things like that. As far as treats are concerned, I usually get Lemon Zest Luna Bars - they are 3 points each, and delicious, and those are usually my dessert or treat. I just love them. I've lost 55 pounds so far, and I started last March on WW. I've got about 40-45 pounds more to go. But my DH says only 35 pounds left to go. He likes me more womanly than skinny. Any time you want to talk about vegetarian eating and WW, please write - I've got no one to talk to about it, and would love to have someone in the same boat as me.
