Guest guest
Hello all, I am Chris, married with kids. My kids and I are vegetarians, my hub is not. I went veggie about half way through our marriage, while my hub is not always happy with my decision he never tramples on it. I would like to, and try to go the vegan route , but it doesn't always happen. I'm not good at intro's, so I guess that is all right now. Thanks for letting me join this group, I recently lost all my recipes, via email blip (will I ever learn), so I really need some recipes. Well, that brings up a question. How do you all save your recipes?....just a quick save.I have Mastercook, but I don't always feel like going through that trouble for a recipe that I may not save long term. Ok.so thanks for letting me join, again. J Chris G. Change your thoughts and you change your world. -- Norman Vincent Peale
Guest guest
I love the Living Cookbook software. It was a lot of work at first getting everything transferred, and still takes some time, but I love the ability to search any which way for something. But what I did was buy a netbook that I keep in the kitchen, so I don't have to print out a recipe every time I want to use it. And of course I only put the recipes into it that I really want to keep. If you want to stay low-tech, I used to use a 2-inch 3-ring binder. If the recipe came from a magazine or newspaper I'd tape it to an 8 1/2 by 11 sheet of printer paper and hole-punch it. I had tabs for different recipe types.
