Also, skip the soy sauce --still yummy. The most important tip I can give is to make sure the rice is cooked and cooled before adding to the recipe. Faux Fish Cakes Submitted by: DeniseC on Fatfreevegan.com Recipe By :Animal Times 2001 Spring: Faux Fish Serving Size : 8 1 pound extra-firm tofu 2 cups cooked brown rice 1 small onion -- minced 6 tablespoons nutritional yeast flakes 2 tablespoons minced celery 2 tablespoons soy sauce -- (2-1/2) 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1 tablespoon sea salt 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard 1/2 teaspoon dill weed 1/4 teaspoon white pepper Pinch celery seed 1/4 cup unbleached all-purpose flour Mix the tofu, rice, onion, yeast and celery in a large bowl. Process the remaining ingredients, except for the flour, in a food processor until well blended. Add to the tofu mixture, along with the flour. Mix well.
