Guest guest Posted January 27, 2010 Report Share Posted January 27, 2010 thanks for the link and heads up to vegetarian times..... i guess i am slowly working my way around to regular type meals=meaning, NOT throw everything in one pot, cook it up with delicious spices(or not, sometimes i really goof in this department)...then eat for as many meals as i can till i am just sick and tired of it..........lol! I think a real vegetarian is someone who does not eat meat........... it took me a while to decided to buy packaged " meat product wannabe's " -you know, fake bacon strips, sausage patties etc etc...it took me no time at all to buy 50 lbs of organic soy beans, 50 pounds of TVP and 50 pounds of vital wheat gluten. What has taken time is finding way of using the wheat gluten and tvp to make my own versions of these packaged products... I would love to have a great " meat " loaf that uses some of the TVP ......i have seen and eated great lentil and nut loafs, great bean and nut loafs, etc etc..but what in the world am i going to do with all this TVP...............vbg! kaethejean http://katiejay.wordpress.com/ _____ avast!
