Guest guest
Ok, does that mean you ARE supposed to rinse the quinoa and then dry it? How do you dry it? While I have used quinoa for many, many years, I have never used quinoa flour and would like to be able to do that by grinding my own if possible. Nancy C. You definitely want to dry it. ¸.·´ .·´¨¨)) ((¸¸.·´ .·´ -:¦:- Terri -:¦:- ((¸¸.·´ Genesis 2:15 The Lord God then took the man and settled him in the garden of Eden, to cultivate and care for it. Guest guest
Nancy, Yes, do rinse it. Quinoa is bitter, if not rinsed. I just rinse a few pounds of my quinoa at a time, in batches, in a metal strainer, and let it air-dry on a cookie sheet. You really want to make sure it is dry before storing it. ¸.·´ .·´¨¨)) ((¸¸.·´ .·´ -:¦:- Terri -:¦:- ((¸¸.·´ Genesis 2:15 The Lord God then took the man and settled him in the garden of Eden, to cultivate and care for it. Guest guest
Thanks! I'll try it when we are back from vacation (heading to Cuba for a week - all inclusive with a vegetarian restaurant. Can't wait to see what that's like). Paula , Terri Partyka <tpartyka wrote: > > Nancy, > > Yes, do rinse it. Quinoa is bitter, if not rinsed.
