Guest guest
Hi! This is simple, but I thought I'd share it anyway. I don't eat them too often, but keep a box in the fridge for something handy every once in a while--like tonight. When " browning " a Boca-Burger (or similar) in a skillet, try this: Sprinkle just a TINY amount (1/2 a capful, maybe?) of Liquid Smoke flavoring into the drop or two of veg. oil that the instructions recommend. Lightly sprinkle lemon pepper and/or maybe just a little seasoned salt (optional, if you don't use salt) on the patty as you put it in the skillet., then brown it just as directed...NICE FLAVOR!!! I just made one and will add it to a sandwich with cheese, lettuce, pickles, mushrooms, olives (if I still have some in the fridge!) and mayo. YUM!! Have a great evening! --Laura B., in Illinois
Guest guest
Laura - I like the idea of liquid smoke on the Boca burger, kind of give it that grilled outdoors taste. chico
Guest guest
I like that idea! I have a small bottle of liquid smoke but never seem to remember to add it to anything. I will try that next time I want to " pep up " a veggie burger! Audrey
