Hi Paul Beans with Tofu Dogs

Not my recipe but we usually call tofu dogs the vegetarian hot dogs. They are

made with a soy base, npot really a white tofu.

The markets ually carry them, or you can find them at Trader Joe's or Whole

Foods or het the Worthington canned ones.

 Beans with Tofu Dogs

 

1 md Zucchini, finely diced

1 md Carrot, finely diced

1 Potato, finely diced

1 c Water

2 cn Black beans  15 ounce cans

3 Tofu dogs, sliced

1/4 c Catsup

 

In a soup pot, cook zucchini, carrot, and potato in water over medium high for

10 minutes or until vegetables are soft. Add beans, tofu dogs, and catsup and

cook for 15 minutes or until thouroughly heated.

Hi,

 

Yes I see, I was just told that by another member. you know when I saw that

earlier post I got this vision of something dog shaped {not actual dogs of

course} that would not be nice. But I couldn't help wondering all the same.

 

 

I know no one here would eat actual dogs, we're far too strong willed for that.
