Guest guest Posted February 10, 2010 Report Share Posted February 10, 2010 It was a vacation. I am a professor so never get to go away in the winter. I'm on maternity leave right now so we jumped at the opportunity to take a sun vacation. It was a great experience. I wish we could have done more off the resort but with three small children it wasn't feasible. I would love to do something more along the lines of helping in upcoming years. I think it's good for the kids to experience another culture and to understand how privileged we are to live in Canada and that it is our responsibility to help others.
