Guest guest
My parents were donuts for breakfast types and Mother did breakfast once a week - crispy fried eggs, bacon, sausage and toast slathered in margarine. They were huge meat people too, which I suspect is one of the reasons Father died of colon cancer. I've always been a breakfast lover and veggie fiend. I got in trouble more times than I like to remember because I'd sneak steak to the dog. My dog really loved me. I married a breakfast and veggie man. We had been eating vegetarian meals for about a month before Carl realized we hadn't been eating meat. He didn't miss it. As long as he gets good farm eggs he's a happy camper. We still have breakfast for dinner as much as regular veggie meals. I'm going to do the Goldenrod eggs for dinner tomorrow night. They sounded really good. Carl went by the chicken farm tonight and picked up a few dozen eggs. The farmer had just rounded the girls up and penned them in the barn since it is snowing down here. (First time in over 20 years we've had over one snowflake.) Stay warm! Hugs, Jeanne in snowy Southwestern GA (snowing in Northern Florida, too.)
