Guest guest
That reminds me of when I was a little girl and went to visit my Grandma who I didn't get to see very often. My favorite food in the whole world is and always has been mashed potatoes. When my Grandma made them they were always lumpy, I asked her once why they had lumps and she told me that was where the vitamins were and they should loved us so much she put extra vitamins in. Later when my Mom made them at home, I asked her how come hers didn't have any vitamins and from then on she started making hers lumpy too. I still like lumps in my mashed potatoes to this day. Guest guest
When I was a little girl and my mother would make Cream of Wheat sometimes there were lumps left in it and I LOVED the lumps! I have a hard time getting lumps in the Cream of Wheat that I make but I do try. And, I love dried cranberries or raisins in both Cream of Wheat and oatmeal.....makes it SO much better! Nancy C. Guest guest
Nancy, If you just dump in the cream of wheat or grits into your boiling water and don't stir right away for a couple of minutes, you can get those lumps. Guest guest
I love Cream of Wheat. We used to have it a lot as a kid. That and Malt-O-Meal. I think I like MOM better, though. I like the lumps in both, though. On Sat, Feb 13, 2010 at 7:25 AM, Kim <kim19623 wrote: > > > Mmmmm, Cream of Wheat....still a favorite at our house! Guest guest
I have never heard of coco wheats either but I like frosted shredded wheat cereal. The sugar coating is really good and I like it with skim or  almond milk. Muy Bueno! Cynthia
Guest guest
coco wheats are basically cream of wheat with coco they've been around for a looong time. they would be in the hot cereal section
Guest guest
Careful with those...some of the frostings have gelatin in them. My kids love mini-wheats. I double checked the ingredient list and sure enough...there is gelatin. I hate that. , Cynthia Forbes <cforbes12000 wrote: > > I have never heard of coco wheats either but I like frosted shredded wheat cereal. The sugar coating is really good and I like it with skim or  almond milk. > Muy Bueno! > Cynthia >
