I've been doing yoga for years and every day it's new. It helps with about

everything.

Anyone here do yoga? I started last week and am proud of myself that I

have made time for it every day so far. This morning, after my boys

woke me up around 5:30, I still forced myself to do it. I have to say

that I feel so much better and more energized. Weird, huh? And it's no

teven stressful or hard. Just breathing and stretching.

What I want to know is how long it will take for me to see physical

results? I am doing Sara Ivanhoe's 20 minute flat abs yoga workout. I

started with her Yoga for Dummies but feel that the flat abs is what I

need (after having 3 kids!) I will probably stick with yoga, but feel

that if I have a goal in mind, it might help me stay motivated...

Thanks!

I just started (again) this morning...I use the 10 minute dvd, and it does seem

to help...I have back issues, so the stretching feels very good to me and

relieves the tension that causes pain in my back.

Yeah Jerri I agree yoga does the same for me. Whenever I need to relax I do

yoga.

I also enjoy pilates. I have a pilates mat and a ball. The benefits of pilates

is great, I get such a feeling of inner calming. The body movements with pilates

eases the tension

Yeah Jerri I enjoy yoga too. I get the same satisfaction from doing yoga. I

become extremely relaxed.

I also ocasionally do pilates. I have a mat and ball. The exercises help to

relieve tension. I think it's great. Do you know of any new exercises to do that

have the same benefit as yoga or pilates?

I love yoga. I've stopped doing it lately and I really miss it...you're

inspiring me to take it up again. It is a wonderful way to get rid of aches and

pains...keeps you flexible and feeling great.

It's been amazing. I only started a little over a week ago, but I missed a day

and could tell. I only got half of my DVD in today before my youngest woke up,

so I need to get off the computer and finish it! A friend of mine said she has

lost weight and has gotten a little toned (at over 50!!), so I am looking

forward to fitting into my old jeans!!
