Re: Jenn frozen veggies  request

Make your favorite " vegetarian " pastry for a double-crust pie and mix up a

batch of " cream gravy " (or  " white sauce " --whatever you call it), season the

vegetables any way you like and put the bottom pastry into a pie pan, add the

vegetables, pour the sauce over it,

place a top crust on, pierce it a few times, and bake it until it's browned, the

inside is hot an bubbly and the veggies are cooked.  You'll have a nice

vegetable " pot pie " as a main dish for your meal!  (For left-overs, a slice of

pie might make a nice lunch the next day, too!)

best wishes!

idea. I love to make nice chilled gazpacho and add mixed veggies to it. Make

your favorite pasta sauce and just before it's done cooking toss in a cup or so

of frozen mixed veggies. Make lasagna and top the layered lasagna noodles with

cooked frozen veggies. I like to eat frozen veggies as a snack when I'm out of

potato chips lol

That's a good recipe. You can also add TVP if you want it.
