Although they were not siblings, they came from the same shelter together almost 16 years ago. They were about 3 - 4 weeks apart in age. We lost our beloved Honey Bun in Dec. from cancer. She had undergone Chemo for 14 months but the D----d cancer won in the end. Now poor Cupcake is alone and I know she misses her pal. I hold her and love her but the sometimes walks around the house and mews and howls. But, at her age, I am not sure that she would accept another cat. Guest guest
How important do you think the second cat is to the single cat?
Guest guest
I've seen photos of your girls -- they are both beautiful. Do they sleep together and groom each other? My girls are 4 years old and still do that -- I think it's sweet and hope they always love each other. Guest guest
Probably not a kitten, but she might appreciate an older and calm cat.
