Guest guest
They sure do. They are the best of friends. I have never seen any jealousy. Do they sleep together and groom each other? My girls are 4 years old and still do that -- I think it's sweet and hope they always love each other. Guest guest
Awww.... We are both lucky that our kitties like each other. That's not always the case! Guest guest
It is the case most of the time, especially when they are brought home together. Guest guest
Maudie and Myrtle are my bottle-fed tortoiseshell girls, 4 years old (they went to school with me every day for a week because I had to feed them every 2 hours) About a year and a half ago, I got a foster kitten, Matilda (also a tortie), who ended up staying. The " older sisters " find Matilda obnoxious and annoying at times (as do I) but they are very tolerant. They will both groom her, and Maudie is more tolerant, she will allow Matilda to sleep close to her. It's so interesting to watch the interactions between them! My 4-year-olds still play chase games together, too. Guest guest
Marilyn My 2 cats have lived together for nearly 10 years and still hate each other. I got them 2 years apart which was a big mistake. The first had got herself well established and has never reconciled to losing her complete sovereignty over the household! Guest guest
Torties are a " different brand " of cat. I admire you with three of them. Watch their tails. They tell an entire story by the different positions of their tails. They will act like kittens for their entire life span. The third one came in as an intruder, but they are accepting her well. Guest guest
She is the dominant cat and doesn't want the other one to forget it. Yes, it is difficult to bring another cat into the house with only one cat having been there for 2 years.
