Guest guest
I just went and bought Saving Dinner the Vegetarian Way by Leanne Ely, so far it's looking really very good (and simple enough for me to get a good foot in). I plan on starting some of these recipes ASAP. I loved her book Saving Dinner and d to her menu mailer for a long time, and loved it as did the kids on even the " funky " recipes. I'm hoping to have a similar experience with this one. Lent this year will be one of our best fed ever! (No more tuna casserole and/or cheese pizza only options!!) Have I mentioned I LOVE how this group has changed my life and my families taste buds? ~Tee (who is salivating over these recipes and looking forward to trying tofu yet again - I SWEAR I will find a way to enjoy the stuff!) Guest guest
I really don't like tofu either but a Tia restaurant made it crunchy in a way that was light and very crispy, paired with the dipping sauce  it was wonderful! Guest guest
A while back I posted a recipe using tofu that you will love. It is called Sesame Chicken Almost. Everyone loves it, even the non tofu eating carnivores love it. Even I, who doesn't like tofu love it. It is a bit labor intensive for a group, though, as the pieces are dipped and then deep fried in batches. I made it for 8 and had to keep the first warm while the later batches cooked, so it can be done, and is worth it.
