Guest guest
Hi All, Thought I'd share the recipe to a delicious sandwich that I've created. Occasionally I may alter some of the ingredients for a bit of change. However any way you choose to make it - it always comes out tasting yummy! Ingredients: Some Extra Virgin Olive Oil Curry Powder (optional) 1 Whole Grain Hamburger Bun -OR- Sesame Seed Bun, Kaiser Roll, etc. 1 Soy Delight Brand Pattie (or other brand of fake chik'n pattie) 2-3 Fresh Mushrooms, sliced Some Red -OR- White Onion, sliced/diced Goat Cheese -OR- Feta Cheese (crumbled) Earthbound Farm Herb Salad -OR- Mixed Baby Letteces Roasted Garlic Hummus -OR- Vegenaise -OR- Mayonnaise Directions: Lightly saute sliced fresh mushrooms and red onion in olive oil in small pan on stovetop on medium heat. While these are cooking, lightly brown the hamburger bun in toaster or oven. And sprinkle curry powder on top of fake chick'n patty and microwave/heat thoroughly. To put sandwich together...First add layer of crumbled (goat/feta) cheese to bottom of bun, then cover that with pre-cooked mushrooms and onion combo, next add pre-cooked fake chick'n patty, and then fresh lettece. Complete with hamburger bun top that has been spread with a layer of hummus or mayonnaise. ENJOY! Best regards, Sandy Boyd North Carolina

Guest guest
Now, THAT sounds like one delicious sandwich!! I would definitely like to try one....the mushrooms and onions sound especially good! And, here I thought my pinto bean sandwich with mustard and barbecue sauce on homemade whole wheat bread was good.....this one sounds even better! Thanks for sharing that one. Nancy C.
