Guest guest
My Mom's potato masher, it's old and does it ever work. All her recipes I have a hard time reading but everything turns out perfect. Guest guest
Cookbooks, ok I've wrangled some from her others I just hunted for duplicates on the 'net as she still very much uses her stuff. I do have my grandmothers greens pot, a lot of her crystal, and her mothers bean pot, juice pitcher, and a few other whatnots. -Tee
Guest guest
I wasn't allowed any of her things - wasn't even allowed any of my things which she had kept for me, but I've still got some great memories. I really would have liked the blue feather had she wore when she and Father went off on their honeymoon. She looked so nice in that. Yeah, not veggie appropriate but I really have good memories of her in that hat. Jeanne in GA
Guest guest
Lol, maybe half the things in my kitchen were my mom's--measuring cups, pots, pans, utensils. you name it Love the connection, and we had very similar taste. We also had similar taste in sculpture, photos, and crafts, so there's quite a bit of that as well. And the rocking chair she nursed me in is pretty darned wonderful, too. Guest guest
I love that you have the rocking chair. I have my dream rocking chair now and I nurse Christina in it. It was given me by the women of my church at the baby shower. ~Tee Lol, maybe half the things in my kitchen were my mom's--measuring cups, pots, pans, utensils. you name it Love the connection, and we had very similar taste. Guest guest
I kept her ice cream scoop and bottle opener, both of which are probably older than I am (54). I was also fortunate to get her bedroom set, a beautiful cherry wood set, older than my oldest sister (62). Guest guest
I have the rocker and even my little maple rocker, Grandfather clock and a wall of cuckoo clocks, wall of Siamese cat plates and a raft of Madame Alexander dolls that give me the creeps, I don't like clowns or dolls.
