Guest guest
In case Burpee doesn't send me the seeds I ordered, I'm going for a back-up company, too. http://www.seedsofchange.com/garden_center/product_details.aspx?item_no=S15008 Pinetree Gardens (try the sweet dumpling squash, too. It's a small heirloom, sweet and good size for one person.) https://www.superseeds.com/products.php?cat=128 Worst case, if they send me the seeds I paid for, I'll save the seeds and send you some to grow next season. But do try the sweet dumpling squash - Burpee doesn't have it, but I know it is in one of the other seed catalogs I've got here. It's small enough to grow in a large planter on a deck or balcony and worth it. I have roasted it with a little honey and butter and baked, scooped and mashed. It's about the size of a baseball, just big enough for one! Get a package of any of the kinds of microgreens in catalogs now. They mature to eating size between 28 - 30 days. Also get some of the little cherry or grape tomatoes which will also fit in a planter and hang on the porch. That and salad dressing and you've got some good food! Nummies.
