Guest guest
That's just about what I paid for the one I bought as a gift in Nov on Amazon, so you'll probably have another chance Did you know there's a Joan Jett Barbie and an entire Harley Davidson Barbie collection, LOL?? Peace, Mo Jeanne B wrote: > Crikey, that is a GREAT price. No box, which counts off a little since serious Barbie collectors want it NIBNO (new in box, never opened). Darnit, if only I wasn't in the middle of buying seeds, plants and my protein supplement, I'd nag Carl into getting it for me! Love that movie. I was always waiting for the little love birds to get loose and rip the old woman's face off, but then I may be a little odd. > > > > __________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 4922 (20100307) __________ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com
Guest guest
Joan Jett Barbie? Good grief. Harley Barbie? Yikes. The ones I'd like to find for 35 buckeroos are the Mackie (how do you spell that designers name?) Barbies in original packaging. Come to think of it, I'd like to find them OUT of their packaging so I could have the excuse to play with them and put them in glass cases! My mother never let me have Barbie when she came out because she looked like a hooker. When I asked what a hooker was (thinking it was something like quilting, which I did understand), I got the bananas knocked out of me. I didn't buy my first Barbie till Mother passed away. Heaven only knows what she would have said! I love my Victorian Barbie. Somehow it is impossible to think she looks like a hooker. Now the Bratz dolls - to me, those just scream pure hooker. (lower end hooker at that.) Mother had some odd notions. When my brother left home, he left behind every Action Comic, including the pure gold, number 1 Superman. The collection was complete up to 1964. Yep. She threw every one of them out. Pristine condition. You don't even want to know what it would have gone for. Guest guest
Didn't know about Joan Jett, but I have Queen Elizabeth I and would love to have Cher. I think the Cher barbie is in a Bob Mackie gown. I know he loved designing gowns for her, said she had the perfect figure. (Would love to have her figure, too -- just not the face!!)
