Guest guest
Hi Paul........Legumes is a classification of foods that include all kinds of dried peas, beans, lentils, split peas and peanuts.....very important in the vegetarian lifestyle. Beans are among the most versatile of foods available. There are so many varieties. Legumes are an important source of protein, minerals, B vitamins. They can be sprouted, flaked, ground into flours, or cooked whole in everything from " meat " patties to plain old beans and cornbread. We love beans. A lot of people do not realize that peanuts are classified as a legume, but they are. Hope that helps you out..... Nancy C. East Texas Hi, To show how thick I am, what are legumes please?
