Guest guest
Just an FYI to the group on this product. It is not truly vegetarian. If you look way down the list of ingredients you will find that the Romano cheese is made with rennet. Without a further qualification that means animal rennet and makes it not vegetarian suitable. Sorry for the bad news for those who have already eaten or purchased it. I looked at the other supposedly vegetarian items on their website and found that all of them have Romano cheese made with rennet. The only reason I thought to look is that I have seen these in the store several times and have almost purchased them until I read the ingredients and then put it back in the freezer case. Guest guest
Check out this list. There are lots of vegetarian sources for vegetarian. The brand I find most often is the Sargento. http://cheese.joyousliving.com/CheeseListBrand.aspx Judy On Mar 11, 2010, at 11:05 PM, Grant Lowther wrote: > Romano cheese
