Guest guest
I've always bought hair brushes with plastic bristles, but now I want a specific type that my hair stylist used on me the other day. But the store I went to had that type in only boar bristles. Anybody know a good place (online or elsewhere) to buy synthetic hair brushes? (makeup brushes too would be a plus!) THanks, Audrey
Guest guest
A makeup artist friend of mine said the Sonia Kashuk line at Target works pretty well for the price. They have reviews on Target that you can read. Avg. is 4 stars. I believe most listed on the site read synthetic, but you can double check in store if near you. On a higher end, I have a shadow brush by Urban Decay that you can find at any major dept. store. Their brushes are all man-made, cruelty-free, w/a synthetic fiber called Taklon. The brush is super soft and hasn't 'shedded' on me at all. Plus, they have a 'love it or leave it' guarantee! Most of the best hairbrushes are 100% boar or 50/50. I usually use the wooden paddle type hairbrushes anyways (that is, before I permed my hair). It really depends on your hairtype. I would also check out Target or Walgreens in-store/online. -Robyn
