Guest guest
Pumpkin pie oatmeal just sounds wonderful. I bet it uses canned pumpkin or you can bake fresh pumpkin and freeze it, then use that as you need it. I've always used fresh pumpkin in our pies as I didn't really know the canned stuff existed until I saw a lady buying it one day. I asked her if it was good and she didn't know you could make pies any other way. We taught each other something that day. I also heard that it is great to feed to your pets that have hair balls and constipation because of the fiber and nutrients. We always had pumpkins planted for each fall and spent two to three days baking pies and freezing them, sometimes we spent more days baking them depending upon how many pumpkins we had and they keep so well you can do a few sessions each week until you have a freezer full. This way you control what is in them. I would love the recipe when you find it. Dena
Guest guest
Yes, canned pumpkin is a great thing to give a puppy or kitten who has stools that aren't right. My sister's little Boston Terrier puppy, Lilly, thinks anything that smells like pumpkin is for HER, she loves it so much!
