Guest guest
I love them. Most recently have bought the Earthgrain brand, which is really good. Pita pockets are great too. Falfala patties are delicious in them, along with a homemade cucumber yogurt dressing and alfalfa sprouts. I take all of the sandwich makings in a separate tupperware container, except for vegeburgers, which I go ahead and cook or bake up and add to the bread. By taking the topping in a seperate container they don't get the bread soggy. You just make up the sandwiches when you are ready to eat it. Topping that we enjoy are tomato slices, dill or bread and butter pickles, alfalfa sprouts, sweet onions( me only), sliced cheese, hummus, lettuce, potato chips/sun chips, avocado slices mixed with lemon juice to keep from turning brown or packets of Holy Gucamole, pickled jalopeno slices, cucumber slices, bell pepper rings, fresh spinach leaves, etc..... We enjoy putting chips on our sandwiches to give it a nice crunch. If making sandwiches at home, sprinkle some dried oregano on the sandwiches. Enjoy, Judy

Are they just a different shape and size from regular slices of bread? Do you think a similar product could be baked by a home baker?
