Guest guest
We are in garden snow pea heaven here. I prepared them this way last night and really enjoyed them. I hope you do too. 1 lb snow peas, trimmed and cut in 3-4 pieces each pod 1/2 cup fresh chopped cilantro 1/2 cup minced scallion greens salt to taste Few tbsp mirin (sweet rice wine) freshly ground white pepper Olive oil with a few drops of dark sesame oil (for sauteing) Sautee peas in olive/sesame oil until almost tender (I use a cast iron skillet, but a wok is good too). Add remaining ingredients and cook for another couple of minutes. I like to leave a little crunch and let them remain a bright green color.
