Guest guest Posted March 24, 2010 Report Share Posted March 24, 2010 Donna, there are literally THOUSANDS of tomato varieties. There is a Green Cherokee and a Cherokee Purple. The green Cherokee was very good but low productivity. We are trying the Cherokee purple this year, the vines seem pretty vigorous. Not sure how purple it is? Dark red is probably more like it. Costoluto genovese is a famous scalloped one, but have not tried it yet. There is another ribbed one called pink Zapotec.
