Guest guest Posted March 24, 2010 Report Share Posted March 24, 2010 1/2 cup quick oats 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 2 slices of whole wheat bread, toasted and pulverized in the blender or food processor 1 Tbsp. sweet paprika powder 1 Tbsp. onion powder1 tsp. garlic powder 1/4 tsp. sweet basil, crushed 1/8 tsp. oregano, crushed Salt to taste 1/4 cup red bell pepper, finely chopped 1/2 cup grated raw potato 2 Tbsp. tomato puree 1/2 tsp. brown sugar 2 Tbsp. wheat germ 1 Tbsp. olive oil1/2 cup water Mix all ingredients in a bowl, adding the water little by little until you have a sough (it must be too stiff nor too runny) and form small croquettes.Cook in a skillet barely " painted " with olive oil, cook on both sides until they are golden brown on both sides.
