He (Hoffman) meets his agent in " drag " (dressed as the " female " character actress he has become) and, in a whispered, deep " guy-voice " aside, says to the agent, " It's Michael Doresy, your favorite actor, remember me? Now I remember the whole thing, and I remember him whining about " all I am is a beefsteak tomato " LOL thanks for the memories!
