Oh well here goes again.Swamp cabbage in Florida is a cabbage palm tree that you cut the tender new growth out of the middle of the fronds.It doesn't grow in the swamps rather it grows every where.It cuts up like the courseness of cabbage.Most people down here use some kind of ham,salt pork etc. to cook with it for flavoring.I've eaten it many times and it's very good.
