I had forgotten how good Jason's Deli is. Try their salad bar if you have

the opportunity -- I ate a huge plate of salad tonight, bowtie pasta salad

with red onions, spinach, cherry tomatoes, and basil pesto in it, plus some

really good roasted red pepper hummus. I'm stuffed! They have a couple of

really good vegetarian sandwiches, and also baked potatoes (for you

potato-obsessed people!)

Thanks for the recommendation. I looked up the locations and will watch out for

one of their locations on our travels.

Your meal sounds delicious!

Thank you for recommending this!  We live close to a Jason's in Lee's Summit, MO

(near Kansas City) and I didn't realize they had veg options!  I live with a

carnivore that loves to eat out and as a relatively new vegetarian, I am

learning the options of different restaurants. Sometimes all I can eat is soup

at some restaurants and the one we went to yesterday, the only vegetarian food

they had was a couple of side dishes (and they were too greasy for me to eat and

we're not going back).  We discovered PlanetSub and I love their choices!

Thanks for making life a little easier for me!

I went to 2 different Jason's in Houston & they were great. You can always get

huge baked potatoes, vegetarian soups, veggie wraps, sandwiches, etc. They will

custom make a veggie sandwich for you if you ask. I went with carnivores and

vegetarians. Prices are quite reasonable. Everyone was happy!
