Guest guest
Rose's Fudge Brownie Pie (Mom's good old brownie pie) 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted 2 large eggs 1/3 cup flour 1/3 cup cocoa powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional) Preheat oven to 350 and grease and flour a 9-inch pie plate Beat together the butter and sugar until blended. Add eggs and mix well, beat on low. Combine flour, cocoa and salt in a small bowl, mix and add to the above mixture. Stir in the vanilla and nuts if using nuts. Pour into prepared pie plate and bake for 20 minutes. *Note* If you want double chocolate, add some morsels to the mixture. Cool on wire rack, to serve, slice like a pie and top with strawberries or ice cream. Through violence, you may 'solve' one problem, but you sow the seeds for another. Guest guest
Donna, I tried this the other night and it was just the right amount of chocolate! Had a question for you on how " done " it is supposed to be... Is this more like cake or brownies as far as telling if it has baked all the way through (without getting dry)? Thanks, Audrey (really did like it!)
