Hello Newbie to the Group

Hello all,

My name is Karin and am a newbie to the group. I am an aspiring vegan. I have

been vegetarian off and on through out my life, going back to being a meat eater

usually out of shear laziness. These several years I have noticed that I was

not feeling well in general and also gaining weight. This Friday will be week

three of no meat and almost dairy free. The only reason I say almost is because

I am still learning all the hidden dairies. I can't tell you how much better I

feel already. Lost 12 pounds, frequent heartburn/acid reflux is gone, and the

constant tiredness also gone.

 

Anyhow now I am looking for support (although my family is being very

supportive:)), learning more about being vegetarian/vegan, learn new recipes

etc. Oh, and maybe make some new friends in the process.
