Guest guest
This made me laugh out loud Literally!! I love Taco Bell due to the fact that they don't use lard in their beans. I love the tostadas! mm This happens to me all the time. I remember one time years ago when at a Burger King the gal behind the counter said " We can't do that " . LOL Seems the register had pictures on it and there was no picture of a burger with no meat. LOL She told me I could just take the meat out. LOL I said I wanted to speak to the manager and then I got my burger without the meat. He was nice and took $1 off of my burger and fries. Vegetarianism is not that mainstream yet but little by little we are getting there. Some places are begining to customize food to include us. Last night I went to 59Diner and asked for a mushroom burger with no meat just xtra mushrooms and the lady was nice and said her mom is vegetarian and she would take care of me. I heard her fighting with the cook though. lol He had put the meat on it and she made him make another one. YAY!! She did take care of me!! Jeannie your time is the most cherished gift of all, tomorrow is promised to no one.
Guest guest
Too funny, Traci! So the lava tacos are good, hm? Have not tried those yet... My standby is usually the 7-layer burrito with no sour cream (gelatin in their sour cream), but a nice crunchy taco sounds really good some days. And no-place is better than Taco Bell for a cold pepsi on a hot day (the only place I ever get pop)! Audrey
Guest guest
I finally had one they did right. I paid the same price for the taco salad and instead of meat they added an extra scoop of beans. I'm sure the beans are cheaper but that fine with me. I was just happy yo have it done the correct way and not try to charge me for extra beans like in the past. Guest guest
I really enjoy the feista potatoes and the crispy potato tacos they make! Never thought of asking for a taco salad with extra beans! ________________________________ " thelilacflower " <thelilacflower Vegetarian Group Fri, April 2, 2010 12:26:05 PM [veg_grp] Taco Bell  I finally had one they did right. Guest guest
@ Taco Bell I tend to try and avoid white potatoes, although they are scrumptious. I go for the cheesy bean and rice burrito (no onions) and a tostada.
