I didn't even feel it here in San Jose. My cats, who are terrified of

quakes, were calm, so I know it didn't quiver much if at all around

here.

All the birds fly from the trees about 10 mins before you feel it, the cats woke

up and were looking around, I thought they wabted a treat.

Glad to hear you are ok, Donna. I hope the rest of our CA members are

well, too. How do your cats react to earthquakes?

I'm in Joshua Tree (near Palm Springs) and felt it. It was a mild rolling

sensation and it took me a second to realize what it was. I just thought I was

feeling dizzy! I yelled out Earthquake!! My kids ignored me (they have no idea

what one is) and my husband was driving someone home, so he didn't feel it.

The funny thing is, a friend was over and about an hour before it hit, he looked

at the sky and told my husband " That's an earthquake cloud "

Talk about strange!
