We had a big tsunami warning here on Maui after the eartquake(s) in South America. Most of the coastal - near the beach areas - were evacuated & folks headed for higher ground. In my part of the country, we have tornadoes, but at least we have fair warning when they're coming -- and most of us have basements, which are pretty safe places.
