Guest guest Posted April 6, 2010 Report Share Posted April 6, 2010 Cauliflower Fritters 1 medium sized cauliflower 3/4 cup flour 1 egg 3/4 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon sugar pinch nutmeg 3/4 cup milk oil for frying 1/4 teaspoon salt Cut cauliflower into medium sized florets and cook in boiling salted water for 6 to 7 minutes or till just tender. Drain & keep aside. Beat egg with milk in a small bowl. In another bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Gradually stir milk mixture into flour mixture and beat until smooth. Dip cauliflower florets into batter. Heat oil in a pan and fry the cauliflower in hot oil until golden brown on all sides.
