Good Saturday Morning Donna,

 

I had organic potatoes sliced and fried in a bit of olive oil for breakfast. I

think I'll have mashed with gravy for lunch..

When I was a little girl and went to stay with my grandmother (of Irish descent)

we always had chips (French fries) for breakfast, Najma. In fact I seem to

remember that we had chips for just about every meal. I blame the Irish potato

famine.... We also used to have cream cakes for breakfast – I think she just

wanted to feed us what she thought kids liked best J

Not that much different than crispy hashbrowns for breakfast! Lots of

restaurants serve fried, seasoned potato wedges as a side item. If they're

seasoned right, I eat 'em!
