Guest guest Posted April 19, 2010 Report Share Posted April 19, 2010 Warm Saute of Summer Fruit 1 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter or margarine 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar 1 cup strawberries, or pitted Bing cherries, sliced 3/4 cup blueberries 1 cup peaches, nectarines, or peeled kiwi, sliced 2 tablespoons kirsch or to taste Melt butter in a saute pan or large skillet. Stir in sugar. Add fresh fruits and liqueur. Adjust liqueur to taste. Cook over medium heat, basting with sauce, until fruits are warmed through. Do not overcook.
