I did quite a lot of research and it seems they are on a par and it just comes down to personal preference. I think these new generation pressure cookers are absolutely fabulous. Can cook pumpkin soup in 7 minutes, or use it just as a stockpot by leaving the safety slide open. Virginia West Aussie I love this pressure cooker Kuhn Rikon pressure cooker. Best money I've spent on cooking gadgets including my ceramic knives. If used right, it could be called the " silent pressure cooker " .
