Guest guest
Our dear Donna, sent me some of the Trader Joe's 21 Seasoning Salute and Roasted Garlic Powder. Wonderful Spices!!!!!! Last night I tossed together, some raw broccoli chopped up, sliced fresh garlic, a quick spray of Olive oil, a pinch of Salt and the Trader Joes 21 Seasoning Salute. I then steamed it in a covered corningware glass container for about 4 1/2 minutes. It was so good. The TJ's California Roasted Garlic Powder tastes much better than regular Garlic Powder in your cooking and baking, etc. ! Judy
Guest guest
Donna and Judy: I will definitely be looking for these two seasonings when I go to Trader Joe's next weekend! One thing I've learned during the past year of eating plant-based is seasonings can make ALL the difference! Judy in Ohio P.S.Thanks again for your suggestions...and taking the time to share them. , wwjd <jtwigg wrote: > > Our dear Donna, sent me some of the Trader Joe's 21 Seasoning Salute and Roasted Garlic Powder. > > Wonderful Spices!!!!!! > > Last night I tossed together, some raw broccoli chopped up, sliced fresh garlic, a quick spray of Olive oil, a pinch of Salt and the Trader Joes 21 Seasoning Salute. Guest guest
Judy - Ohio, you're welcome, we are all happy to help you. If you like fresh cracked pepper, look for their little jar of peppercorns, they have a blend of all colors for a great price and they are so fresh. Guest guest
The Taco seasoning is fantastic in lentils. The cinnamon is better than any other I have had. They have a great assortment of sea salts.
Guest guest
Well, now I can say I've been to a Trader Joe's! I went with my list of items you all recommended. Came out with lots of goodies, including the spices, pasta, grains, legumes you mentioned (the 21 Salute spice mix looks so good...can't wait to try that and the rainbow peppercorns too); some really hearty breads & pitas; some great munchies/crackers; the baked tofu; a couple packs of the Trader Joe's Italian soy " sausages " to have in freezer for company; the greens in a bag somebody mentioned and a couple other items from the produce section; soy milk; soy chirizo; the almond granola someone mentioned and ... on and on...The hummus looked delicious but had quite a bit of fat in it so I passed on it (try to stay away from added oils)but both of my married daughters bought it based on your recommendations! Thanks, everyone. I was surprised at the prices too - very reasonable. Sure would be nice to have one nearby. I'd definitely be a regular. Guest guest
Â a couple packs of the Trader Joe's Italian soy " sausages " to have in freezer for company; Happy to hear you enjoyed your trip to Trader Joe's. On my last visit, they were " taste testing " the Italian soy " sausages " . They were served browned and had yellow, red and green bell peppers, cut into small pieced and sauted. I sampled a little white paper cup of the sausage and peppers and they were DELICIOUS! I recommend them to all. in Northern Illinois
