Guest guest Posted April 25, 2010 Report Share Posted April 25, 2010 Alfalfa Sprout Gazpacho (tastes great) Recipe provided by: Recipe America Original recipe yield: 4 Ingredients: 4-ozs. alfalfa sprouts or alfalfa and onion sprouts chopped 1/2 cucumber chopped 1 scallion chopped 2 stalks celery chopped 1/2 green pepper chopped 1 clove garlic pressed 2 medium tomatoes skinned 3 cups low sodium tomato juice 1 small zucchini chopped salt and pepper to taste Directions: Combine all but juice in a blender or food processor and process until liquefied. Add to tomato juice and blend well. Chill 1 hour. This is an official 5 A Day recipe. Recipe provided by the International Sprout Growers Association.
