Just opened a can of what I thought were sliced black olives... nope,

chopped. I don't want to put these on my salad! What do I do with

them??

Thanks

Mix them with chopped onion, few herbs, pressed garlic clove, diced tomato or

red bell pepper and a little balsamic vinegar and eat on bread.

Try my *black olive pecan spread* in the recipe files. It's a favorite of mine

and everyone who's tried it says it's very different and tastes great.

Oh, that sounds SO yummy! I make a cream cheese, chopped green olives and

chopped pecan spread but I love black olives too. I want to try this one.

Olive spread - in a food processor whirl garlic garlic cloves, olive oil to

chop- add the olives and a bit of fresh rosemary- give it a pulse or two and

then add a small handful of walnuts and pulse a few more times.

You can use different nuts, switch the rosemary for thyme (or use both), pulse

in some dried tomatoes (rehydrated in water or drained from oil packed)
