Warm Greetings - My Introduction

My favorite word is " Delight. "  It is such a delight to be joined to such a

positive group.  I grew up tending a garden, per the request and instructions of

my grandmother Big Mama.  Fresh greens hand picked from the garden is an

everlasting delight.  Big Mama prepared the table, and when the greens were

placed on the table, that moment always felt like heaven. Seated on her wooden

steps, in the backyard, I watched the clouds and enjoyed dancing in the rain

turning around in circles. Feeding the chickens taught me many lessons to walk

through life. That joyful time was in Dallas, Texas.

Later, traveling to California, I met my Aunt Fayrene, and in her backyard was

this huge lemon tree with huge big fat lemons.  I ate so many lemons until I

would itch like crazy, you see the lemons were free and the taste was intense.

 Thereafter, I made sure I packed me a bag of wine candies for that backyard

treat in California.  Her porch and steps were cement, what a delightful time I

experienced with the fruits of that lemon tree.  

A trip to the country was another fantastic delight, I learned where all the

stars rested at night.  Waiting for night to appear so I could stand in the

middle of the road and behold such beautiful lights, the light of the stars.  No

street lights were necessary, the night was perfect for the stars to shine.

 Now, I love and enjoy eating healthy, and living healthy.  Everyday, I find a

reason to celebrate my life, and the lives of others.  My name is Linda, I live

in Dallas, Texas, and  joining this group is a sure delight to me.
