Guest guest Posted April 30, 2010 Report Share Posted April 30, 2010 Romaine with Garlic and Walnuts 1 lbs. romaine lettuce, shredded 3 tbsps. chopped walnuts 1 small clove garlic, minced 1/8 tsp. salt, optional 2 tsps. balsamic vinegar 4 tsps. olive oil Combine lettuce and walnuts in a salad bowl. Combine remaining ingredients and pepper to taste in a jar with a tight-fitting lid, shake vigorously. Pour over salad and toss. Serves 4. -- Never be afraid to try something new.
