Guest guest
Hi Janis, What a quandary. I would say that you appreciate his mother's gift, and that the fake sausage was not meant to be disrespectful to his mother, but you are concerned about your children's health. I myself cannot see the problem, or how buying fake sausage can in anyway be seen as an insult to a gift of quail eggs. This is about your son's health and it is serious.I know you don't want to argue with your husband, but your son's health (until he is older) is your responsibility. You have to do what you believe is right for your children. Ask their father what he honestly thinks about your son's weight. Does he see it as a problem, and how does he intend to address it. And remind him that what children do and eat now, will have an impact on them forever. Good luck with it, hope it works out without too many hurt feelings. Virginia West Aussie Well, my husband saw what I'd bought and went ballistic. How could I buy fake sausage to go with his mother's thoughtful gift and all that
