Hi Janis

Look for the falafel mix (mine are all vegan) I get the for $2.29 to $2.59 a box

at the middle eastern store, whole Foods or rhe ethnic isle at the market. You

add water and let the mix sit for 10 mins. Lightly oil a cookie sheet, form

into patties and brush the top with a very thin coat of oil and bake.

Now you can use as a side dish, or a sandwich. I have a delicious vegan savory

sauce recipe in the sauce recipe folder.

I agree, you don't want to argue or fight with your partner, solves nothing.

I'm hoping he will help support you with meals when you try falafel and bean

burgers and other recipes not containing alternative products.

Thanks, Donna! I know I have a Whole Foods Market near me; they just

donated 6,000 chocolate chip cookies to the opening of the garden party of my

library (I proudly abstained, although how I did it remains a mystery). I'm

a native New Yorker and it sounds strange to me to admit that opening a

garden attached to my library would be a big thing, but it was. You couldn't

park for miles around. I had to arrive two hours early to find parking,

and it wasn't easy. Is that as weird as it sounds to me or is it just that

I'm a city girl?

 

Anyway, if Whole Foods donated 6,000 cookies, they must be in the area, so

I will definitely go look. My boys loved the events, concerts, bird

conservationist speeches and demonstrations, and all sorts of amazing things

that our library held in their new garden. It was lots of fun... and it

wasn't even held in Manhattan! Perhaps I should go shoot myself for being so

unloyal to my NYC homeland, but the kids had fun, and not a single person had

a bad word to say about the vegetarian burgers I fed them on the lawn as we

watched the concert!

Hey Janis

You really had a nice day.  i'm happy they enjoyed the veg burgers too.

I'm a city  girl too.  I was born in Hollywood and migrated 20 minutes away.  I

think I have a garden because I have some chives growing in a pot LOL

But I have 5 Trader Joe's withing a few minutes in any direction and 3 Whole

Foods so I'm not complaining.
