Guest guest
Veggie Dog Treats 2 1/2 c. whole wheat flour 1/2 c. powdered dry milk 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 6 Tbsp. margarine 1 egg-beaten 1 tsp. light brown sugar 1/2 c. ice water Preheat oven to 350*. Combine flour, milk, salt, garlic, and sugar. Cut in margarine until mixture resembles cornmeal. Mix in egg. Add enough water so the mixture will form a ball. Pat out dough 1/2 inch thick with your fingers on lightly oiled cookie sheet. Cut with doggie bone cutter or cookie cutter of your choice. Bake 25-30 minutes. Dogs go crazy for one of these. Guest guest
Hi, Â Â That looks a good receipe, but garlic powder in a dog treat? Are you sure ? I would have thought that would be too strong for them. Paul Russell. Â Through violence, you may 'solve' one problem, but you sow the seeds for another. Guest guest
I make all kinds of veggie/vegan and all natural dog treats, birthday cakes, pupcakes and other goodies. I have thought about trying to sell them, but just not sure. Hugs, Mindy -
Guest guest
All four of mine love them too! sugar snaps, snow peas and shelling peas! they follow me around the garden when I am collecting peas and putting them in the basket. I toss them one here and there, they know I am more generous with peas than with carrots! (they also love carrots, and radishes!) The jury is still out on garlic for dogs (mine like it) but onions are a definite no no....... (also, no chocolate, no walnuts, no raisins) Yes I cook for my dogs, about every other meal for them (kibble in between). , paul russell <paulowenrussell wrote: > > My two love peas. >
Guest guest
I hadn't heard about walnuts, but macadamia nuts are a no-no. >
