Nuti-Loaf Slices in Tomato Sauce

1 - 19 oz can of Cedar Lake Nuti-Loaf

1 - 10 3/4 oz can of Condensed Campbell's Tomato Soup

1/2 c. water

1 rib of celery, diced small

1 med. onion, diced small

1/2 bell pepper, diced small

1 tsp. dried basil

1/2 tsp. Mrs. Dash or Trader Joe's 21 Seasoning Salute

1/2 tsp. Lawry's Seasoned Salt

Cut off both ends of the can of Nuti-Loaf and using one lid press out the log.

Cut lengthwise into fourths. Then cut widthwise into small slices. Spray a pie

dish with Pam. Add the Nuti-Loaf pieces. In a small bowl, mix together the

the tomato soup, tomato sauce and water. Pour over the Nuti-Loaf Pieces.

Cover with a large plate and microwave for 8 minutes.

In a frying pan, add 1 tsp of oil and heat over med. high. When hot add the

celery, onions, bell pepper and seasonings. Saute until tender crisp. After

the Nuti-Loaf in tomato sauce is finished in the microwave, take out and add the

sauteed veggies . Cover with the plate and microwave for 2 more minutes.

Tip - I use a Borner Mandolin to quickly dice up veggies.

Cedar Lake Nuti-Loaf is a delicious vegan peanut-based loaf. Ready to eat

straight out out of the can or in your favorite recipe. Great in salads,

sandwich spread or in casseroles.

Ingredients: Water, ground peanuts, soy protein concentrate, corn flour, rice

flour, salt, yeast extract, onion powder, lysine, celery powder.
