Guest guest
You know I took a label into Whole Foods asking of they would order canned Worthington and they manager acted like it was poison, he said no and we hav e nothing to do with the canned products. I tried asking the smaller health food store and they said the same thing. We have a large Food 4 Less and one store has a few cans of Fri Chik and that's it. Guest guest
I think unless you've tried their products they might come across as not so great....fake meat in a can? My first thought was ugh! I have since learned differently. I can see where hoity toity Whole Foods would turn their nose up at them. Considering the recent flap about some of their oganic food coming from China, I don't have much faith in them eiher evem though China supposedly has to meed the same standards the USA does on anything labeled organic. I just hear China/food and I cringe. I really find it puzzling that you can pretty much only find these products online.
Guest guest
We have some of these product at the local health food store, but they are so expensive that we rarely get them. There is a Seventh Day Adventist Book Store, but it is all the way in Oklahoma City and I alas live in Lawton. I am considering taking that drive and stocking up on some of their products because it is a lot cheaper to go into the store and purchase them as well as having access to frozen goods. I live in the larger LA area too and have looked for them everywhere. No luck. I ordered the fri-chik and more recently the big franks from amazon.com. One problem though is that the cans get all banged up, at least my last order did.
Guest guest
I apologize if anyone has already shared this, but Safeway carries these products, surprisingly.
