Guest guest
Hello! I have to comment here ... I have a dear friend that is diabetic and was not doing well at all. I revamped his diet and had him cut meat out completely. In just two weeks time, his blood sugar levels have dropped significantly and is now after 2 months is on half the insulin he needed before. My Dad is visiting with me and he also is diabetic. His blood sugar levels were at least 400 every day! The Doctor told my Dad he is about to be put on insulin so I decided to make it my goal to help my Dad and keep him off insulin at the very least. We, being vegetarian, have Dad eating a vegetarian diet now, NO meat whatsoever and I am SO PROUD to say, since my Dad arrived on February 24th, his blood sugar levels have consistently gone done. In fact, less than 100 for the first time in 20 years!!!!!!!!!!! He is doing great, looks great and SO much healthier than before he arrived. I would have to say based on these two situations alone and the INCREDIBLY significant difference in each person, meat DOES IN FACT have an effect on diabetes and by changing the diet, cutting meat out completely, I believe we can possibly even reverse diabetes! One can hope and believe and I AM A BELIEVER based on facts and faith! Hope this has helped someone out there who may be curious. It sure can't hurt to try! Have a blessed and beautiful weekend!
